Black steel/iron wire is divided into two categories, hard drawn wire and soft annealed wire.

Hard-drawn wire is the most basic and affordable steel wire available. The term “hard-drawn” simple means the steel has been drawn though the die to the desired diameter with no additional processing or tempering. Hard drawn wire is most commonly used in shelving, automobile parts, and shopping carts.

The appearance of the black annealing line has the lowest manufacturing barriers, but to make it high-quality, stricter standards are required to control the annealing temperature.

The purpose of annealing is to enhance the performance of the welding wire by eliminating work hardening and increase the number of rolled cables, thereby improving the structure and performance. Annealing is a key process consisting of three stages: heating, holding and cooling.

Our annealing line uses high-quality Q195 steel rods. The steel rods undergo a pre-stress annealing process to burn and evaporate rolling oil on the surface of the rods to ensure cleanness and hygiene before the fine drawing process.

Our flat annealing treatment solves the strain stress + low temperature recovery to precipitate/spheroidize the microstructure of the workpiece. The design of the entire production line is suitable for a large number of stable mechanical properties of low-temperature heat treatment wires. After stabilization, the stress value decreases slightly and the plasticity is improved.
