Fasteners used in construction

Fasteners are a type of mechanical parts that are used for fastening connections and are widely used.
All kinds of fasteners can be seen on various machinery, equipment, vehicles, ships, railways, bridges, buildings, structures, tools, instruments, chemicals, instruments and supplies, etc.

It is characterized by a wide variety of specifications, different performance uses, and a very high degree of standardization, serialization and generalization.
Thus, some people also refer to a type of fasteners with existing national standards as standard fasteners, or simply as standard parts.
Fasteners are used in the construction industry.
Every construction project requires different types of fasteners to ensure that the final construction is strong and safe.

Types of Construction Fasteners.

1. Anchor: An anchor is a specific type of fastener used to attach materials to concrete. While there are many types of anchors, all include a threaded end that can be attached to a nut and washer.
2. Studs: Studs do not contain a head and are just used as a threaded rod to which a nut can be attached.
3. Bolts: Designed to be used as fasteners that have been drilled through a hole in the material, the bolt requires a nut to be tightened on the other end and is a headed fastener with an even thread.
4. Nut: A nut is used to insert a bolt or threaded rod into the center of its threaded hole.
5. Screws: A distinguishing feature of screws is that they do not require the use of nuts. Instead, the screw contains means at one end for turning the screw and has a helical thread on its surface to penetrate strongly into the material.
6. Nail: This requires specially designed deck screws and fasteners to help prevent bulging.
